My Teachers
Teachers bestow Knowledge
Like a strong sturdy sledge.
Zipping down the vales of snow
The snow are lessons, showing the way to go.
Knows no bounds, a teacher’s care
Their lessons help us, so we fair.
Well, in the long run
On the learning path we have some fun.
Taught me how to read and write
Make me realize what’s wrong and right.
Patiently Coach me for competitions
Improve my scholastic and co-scholastic positions.
Homework incomplete — yet, you’re lenient
Remind me next time, to be obedient.
Teachers’ words are like cotton candy
Call me darling, baby and sweety.
Motivate us to break our own record
Emphasize on staying healthy and eat gourd.
With gentle instructions they keep us in order
For their love and pampering, there is no border.
Mythological teachers like Dronacharya
Who taught warriors such as Arjuna.
Mentor, guide and philosopher
Like Annie Sullivan was to Helen Keller.
I will stay indebted to our teachers forever.
